Self Portrait

Self Portrait, acrylic on wood board, 2008.
Oh no its me, deep in the snowy and cold woods. This is the only self portrait i've liked and not painted over. This is what i look like in the middle of a swedish winter, like im dead, maybe minus terminator eyes.

Zero-G-Collins

Zero-G-Collins, Acrylic on canvas, 95 x 130 cm, 2009.
A painting on a vintage Nasa space theme. I found this rare picture of Michael Collins during Apollo training in an old science book and I had to paint it.
I hope to do more space paintings, i've always had space madness.
Actually the last painting i sold was of Yuri Gagarin, i didnt have time to get a photograph of it...shame, it got snapped up and went straight to Denmark.

Secret Agent Man

Secret Agent Man, acrylic on board, 50 x 50 cm, 2009.
Another strange one for my brother. This one has both some collage elements and my abstract shapey bits.

Eat-It-All

  Eat-It-All, Acrylic on canvas, 50 x 50 cm, 2006.
Another painting collage, and my first. It was done for my brother, I find it hard doing anything too serious for him. Some Devo in this, I've wanted to put some Devo in a painting for ages! and also that Pac Man graphic. I'm going to have to use them in a painting for myself too.

One of my more graphic and collage like paintings.

Humanoid Human

Humanoid Human, mixed media on canvas, 2005.
Something different, a smaller experiment

Possible 187

 Possible 187, acrylic and varnish on canvas, 90 x 120cm, 1998.
Another oldie, painted from a tv still i took from an american police chase programme. I was listening to lots of hippedy hop at the time i think.
I like the abstraction in this with the shapes and layers, the looseness and there's no unnecessary detail. I dont think i've done a painting since that's just of one object and so full frame, but it works.

Minus 273

Minus 273, acrylic, spraypaint and varnish on canvas, 115 x 115cm,1999.
To start, a fresh photo of an old painting. This painting fits well with the ice station vibe but was produced in the not so cold and rainy land of brighton uk.
I've been wanting to do a sort of sequel to this, on a snow theme, with lots of white and grey for a while. So now should be the time while im surrounded by the stuff.
